Piedmont as a premium destination for outdoor-activity lovers. The studio conceives name, payoff and visual identity of the dedicated brand.

In spring 2020, the Outdoor Commission was born. It’s an institution constituted by Visit Piemonte, Unioncamere, Regione Piemonte and Local Tourist Agencies with the responsibility of promoting open-air tourism.

The project is launched on a web platform, which aggregates the offer of outdoor experiences: a large world, which brings together the most diverse sports practices.

A name and an image are needed, capable of expressing the promise of a rich and varied landscape for a perfect vacation in the summer of the post-Covid social distancing.

In the name proposed by Bellissimo, Piemontescape, the territory merges with the invitation to explore, to discover, to escape from routine.

The compass becomes the symbol of a portal that guides the visitor through the infinite possibilities of a region that offers mountains, hills, parks, lakes, wild spaces and beautiful “anthropised” landscapes.

In the colours, the project still chooses to escape, rejecting the typical shades of communication about nature and choosing an original and highly distinctive combination.

For our studio, committed to enhancing the history of the territories, this project has been a new interesting challenge, that follows the works for #inLombard1a and the identity of VisitPiemonte itself.

Bellissimo’s interest in the landscapes of the region already had a happy precedent in the graphic experiment of Effetto Piemonte.
