Gran Torino

from mole to moma

Bellissimo collaborates with the Fondazione De Fornaris and Fondazione per l’Arte CRT to create the image of Gran Torino, initiative on Turin artistic system scheduled at New York.

2013 was the Year of Italian Culture in the United States. On 30th October, the De Fornaris Foundation and Fondazione per l’Arte CRT, in collaboration with the GAM — the Civic Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art of Turin — presented Gran Torino - The City of Contemporary Art, an event held in New York to present our city’s contemporary art system.

The schedule included a meeting with the Mayor of Turin and the Presidents of the Foundations, as well as a video that appeared on the screens of Times Square for a whole week.

Along with the invitation leaflet (here, above the cover), Bellissimo designed the advertising campaign for the main Italian newspapers: Corriere della Sera, Repubblica, La Stampa, Sole 24 Ore.

The visual identity recalls the architectural lines of the MoMA PS1, the pavilion affiliated to the Museum of Modern Art where the meeting was held.
